Work with orphanage graduates
Weekend camp in Kherson!
Agape staff and volunteers in Kherson spent this past weekend together with orphan teens, a project supported by the Emmanuel Association. We had a great time together in a very cozy, home-like setting.
Over the course of our 4 days together, our ‘mini-camp’ included the following: ice-skating and a visit to a climbing wall; a master class on how to make pizza from scratch; and a trip to an orphanage for invalids to visit our friends, teens just as interesting and full of life as kids anywhere else, hindered only by their physical limitations.
The teens that were with us over the weekend were also able to make a lot of new friends, as we had quite a few Christian young people come and visit during the four days of our ‘camp.’
Our time together, Oct.30th-Nov.2nd, was spent in Agape’s Adaptation Center on the outskirts of Kherson.
We want to thank everyone who helped make this special time possible – may God bless you!
Please be praying with us that God would work in the lives of the teens that were at our ‘mini-camp,’ that he would bless them and draw them closer to himself.
