Why am I in orphan ministry?  (T. Rudyuk) 

Why am I in orphan ministry...? Well, God used a presentation by Sergei Nesteruk, national director of Agape Ministries to really get my attention. He showed me that I could take his love to needy children in orphanages. As I watched a video clip about the plight of orphans in our country, my eyes just filled with tears as I began to see just how great their need truly is… and began to understand that God wanted to use me to reach them.

My greatest desire, the biggest thing that motivates me is this: I want to help these children come to see the amazing love that God has for them, his Father’s heart of compassion and care, his concern for their lives. I want to help them understand that he loved them so much that Jesus came and died on the cross to save them – so that they could be with him forever! 

I also want for them to see God’s love in and through me as I love them, giving of myself. I really hope and pray that our amazing Lord and Father will be honored and glorified as I serve these children.
