On August 25th 2013, Agape Ministry’s new Adaptation Center for Young Men in Krivoi Rog was up and running as the first teenage orphans moved in.
Two orphanage graduates settled in to live with a Christian family there. Anton Dubrovsky and Sasha Korotky became a part of the Sukhovoy family.
We prayed with him again about the family. 10 days later he received answer from God.
I visit the Church of Christ the Savior in the Kherson. I am director of Sunday School. At the same time I work as teacher of Bible lesson in the orphanage for children 4-7 years old. This is my first year of work. I am glad that God allowed me to carry His Word to these kids.
I, Dima Tedeyev, was born on September 11, 1995 in Orenburg, Russia.
Soon after, when I’d just turned 3 years old, my mother took my sister and me and moved to Ukraine, in pursuit of personal happiness...

My name is Irina. I am an orphan. No one needs me. I am aging out of the system this year and do not know what the future holds for me. After the summer camp I felt very special in my spirit. I now know that God will never leave me. I now attend a Christian church and want to get baptized.

My name is Sergey. I am in third grade. I believe in God because He is my Heavenly Father. I was abandoned by my parents and now I live at an orphanage. I am very fascinated with all topics about God. I enjoy reading Bible stories and learning more about Jesus’ life on earth. I pray and read the Bible regularly. I am glad my Savior is always near. I feel His protection.
“Do you yourself even believe what you’re saying?” Sergei asked, still laughing.

“Well, that’s all the future I see for me,” said Sergei, pointing at the bars on the ground-floor window, “a life behind bars.”
I want to demonstrate to them that they are not alone, not rejected – and that they are precious to God, and to us…
Why am I in orphan ministry? It’s very simple, really. From the time I was a little child myself, I’d heard that there were children who didn’t have their own parents. The thing is, I thought that their problem was easy to fix...
