Young Men’s Adaptation Center in Krivoi Rog

 On August 25th 2013, Agape Ministry’s new Adaptation Center for Young Men in Krivoi Rog was up and running as the first teenage orphans moved in.

Two orphanage graduates settled in to live with a Christian family there. Anton Dubrovsky and Sasha Korotky became a part of the Sukhovoy family.

Answer to the prayerWe prayed with him again about the family. 10 days later he received answer from God.

I visit the Church of Christ the Savior in the Kherson. I am director of Sunday School. At the same time I work as teacher of Bible lesson in the orphanage for children 4-7 years old. This is my first year of work. I am glad that God allowed me to carry His Word to these kids.

Teach Us to Pray

I work in an orphanage for the very smallest children, from 1 year to 3-4 years old. I teach Bible lessons there three times a week. Many Christians that I meet are not supportive of my ministry. An orphan's life

 I looked up and saw Egor himself running toward me full-tilt, his face glowing.  He ran up, yelling at the top of his lungs "I found it! I found it!" I was confused..."What did you find, Egor?" I asked. "I found a family!!

Two orphanage graduates settled in to live with a Christian family there. Anton Dubrovsky and Sasha Korotky became a part of the Sukhovoy family.

 

  

So often, we think that these teenage orphans are apathetic, hardened by life, resistant to letting God’s Word work in their hearts. Zhenya’s story shows that the opposite can be, and often is actually the case...

 

Sometimes feelings of loneliness are strong enough to make you wish you were dead! For children who grow up in orphanages, those feelings are what they live with, day in and day out…
