An orphan's life

A Miracle from God

Outwardly, Tanya was feisty, a real scrapper... but her eyes were dulled and sad. Her entire being seemed to be focused on her anger at the world around her. Her anger and pain often spilled over into other's lives, hurting those who were weaker than her...

To Everything a Season

Soon Agape Ministries will celebrate it's 10th anniversary.  In some ways it seems like a long time, in others, not long at all. When we stop to consider -  the tears and laughter, the heights of joy and depths of despair...it's by God’s grace we have learned and grown through it all.

An orphan's life

“Do you remember, during your Bible lessons, how we talked about what we dreamed of doing or being? I was the girl who always dreamed of going to Paris!”

My name is Sergey. I am in third grade. I believe in God because He is my Heavenly Father. I was abandoned by my parents and now I live at an orphanage. I am very fascinated with all topics about God. I enjoy reading Bible stories and learning more about Jesus’ life on earth. I pray and read the Bible regularly. I am glad my Savior is always near. I feel His protection.

Answer to the prayerWe prayed with him again about the family. 10 days later he received answer from God.

I visit the Church of Christ the Savior in the Kherson. I am director of Sunday School. At the same time I work as teacher of Bible lesson in the orphanage for children 4-7 years old. This is my first year of work. I am glad that God allowed me to carry His Word to these kids.

As I watched the video about the plight of Ukrainian orphans, my eyes filled with tears as I began to see how great their need is - and began to understand that God wanted to use me to serve them...

God wants us to believe in Him. God wants to help us. Every lesson we learn more and more about Him
