Children Waiting
"mom, our mother has come! Take me, take me!"
Yes, indeed they wait. Every person that appears is a new "mother" for them. As soon as you walk in to the room, all the children jump, race each other, and run with shouts of "mom, our mother has come! Take me, take me!". They grab you by your feet and stretch their arms. They attach themselves to you from all sides. But you stand bewildered, with tears in your eyes as your heart is trembling. But they wait…wait until someone takes them into their hands, strokes them, hugs them, and holds them close. They do not have gentleness and care of a mother, which is irreplaceable!
Please support me in the prayers for these children, so that the Lord will never leave them and will grant them minutes of happiness in a wonderful family!
I have not been in the children's home long. The first meeting was difficult. I went through an emotional shock. How is it like this? Such wonderful children, without any kind of defects are unhappy and abandoned. Abandoned by their young and healthy mothers. Lord, why is it like this? What is their fault? In reality there is not just one or two.
Fear arose "What can I do for them? How can I help?". Looking at these little children I imagined their future with fear. What will become of them? What is their future? God help them. Who, except for you can guide them in the true path where they will be under your protection?! Lord, save them from the world, from sin, from a life of chaos.
In my group the children's ages range from 4 months to 1,5 years. Everyone of them is a little individual, a person whose future trembles my heart. What can I do? Yes, take them into my hands, feed them, change their diapers, play with them, hug them, and hold them close. But all this is not enough. For this reason I pray for each one, without ceasing, constantly knocking to heaven. I believe that the Lord will not leave my prayers unanswered.
I want for each of these children Danya and Nastinka, Cemochka and Ilyosha, Anyuta and Natashenka, Sergey and Matvey, and many others to find a real family. A friendly family, where they love God, care about each other, and where they would be loved like their own.
Please support me in the prayers for these children, so that the Lord will never leave them and will grant them minutes of happiness in a wonderful family!
I am thankful to Alex and Vera Fedorchuk, mission "Agape", and all of you, dear brothers and sisters, for the opportunity to participate in such a wonderful service to the children who are in orphanages. Be blessed!
